Bodega & Grill De Waag is a restaurant in Paramaribo, Suriname. It is de Waags mission to deliver the best customer experience with a knowledgeable and creative team. For the Waag we are looking for enthusiast and experienced colleagues with:
- Passion for the hospitality industry;
- Minimum 1 year experience in the hospitality industry;
- Ability to speak in fluent Dutch and English;
- Full time or part time.
Operational tasks:
- Cover the tables with clean cutlery and glasses;
- Welcomes the customers and guides them to their tables and gives them the menu;
- Informs the customers about the daily specials, answers theirs questions about the menu and gives recommendations on request;
- Takes food and beverage orders from customers;
- Writes down the orders, enters them into the computer at the bar and gives the orders to the kitchen and bar staff;
- Serves food and beverages to the customers;
- Asks the customers whether they are satisfied or not and deals adequately with potential problems;
- Handles the payments (cash en credit card);
- Clears up the tables, brings the dishes to the kitchen and cleans up the tables.
