Vacature Operations Associate/Senior Analyst

The Caribbean Country Department of the Inter-American Development Bank is looking for three

Operations Associate/Senior Analyst

in the Bahamas, Suriname, and Jamaica (one in each country)

Reporting to the Chief of Operations, he/she will work closely with Sector and Fiduciary Specialists in the design and execution of the Bank’s operation, and support the Country Office to identify country development needs; develop, implement, and monitor the Bank’s Country Strategy; and oversee the delivery of country and regional, public and private, operational programs.

Your key responsibilities will range from the Project Planning and Design to the Project Execution and Monitoring, including review of procurement documents and standards to the Closing of the Operations.

You will hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or similar studies (required for an Associate position).  A Bachelor’s degree may qualify you for the Analyst level. Certification in Project Management would be an asset.

You will have developed the skills to administer projects financed by multilateral development institutions or other external donors during at least 2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of national

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is required; knowledge of a second Bank official language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is highly recommended. Language skills will be tested.
